  • Is there anything I should do to prepare before my visit?

    Yes! Please pause any Vitamin A products (retinoids) you’ve been using for about 5-7 days prior to any treatment. Also avoid any exfoliation for 1-2 weeks beforehand. Please wait a minimum of 2 weeks after having neurotoxins (Botox), filler, other facial procedures or laser in the area being treated. Arrive makeup-free whenever possible. Please feel-free to wear something comfortable and cozy so you may enjoy your treatment thoroughly.

  • Do I need to arrive early?

    Yes! New client intake forms are texted in advance but if you are unable to complete them beforehand, please allow around 5-10 minutes before your appointment to fill them out in person.

    Please give yourself enough time to find the studio for your first visit. The entrance is located to the right of the Shoveltown Brewery outdoor patio on the back side of the building. Please head up to the second floor and have a seat in the waiting room. Feel free to text or call 774-250-5551 if you have any trouble finding the location.

  • Should I bring anything with me?

    I recommend bringing a list of any medications, vitamins or supplements you are taking. Please either bring or take a picture of your current skincare regimen if you don’t know the product names by heart.

  • What if I don’t know which treatment to book?

    That’s okay! You can book for any treatment that you gravitate towards and we’ll have plenty of time to change it at your appointment if a different service is a better fit for you. You could also book for a consult of you’re more comfortable with that option first.

  • What products are used during a facial?

    Facials are performed using only professional skincare product lines that are science-backed, high quality ingredients, quality-tested, fragrance-free, cruelty-free and results-oriented. The majority of the products used are from Circadia, Face Reality, Hale and Hush and Korean Skincare lines.

  • Can I book a facial if I have sensitive or acne-prone skin?

    Absolutely! I tailor every treatment to your skin’s very unique needs. If you have very sensitive skin, I recommend the Calming Facial. If you are acne-prone, I recommend starting with either the Clear Skin Facial or the Clear Skin Platinum.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

    48 hour notice is required for canceling or rescheduling any appointment.

    Canceling or rescheduling any appointment between 24-48 hours of the booked service will result in a fee of 50% of the service total. This will be automatically charged to the credit card on file.

    No-show policy: Canceling or rescheduling any appointment with less than 24 hour notice or not arriving for a scheduled appointment will result in a fee of 100% of the service total. This will be automatically charged to the credit card on file.

    Late arrival policy: Arriving more than 15 minutes late for a scheduled appointment may result in either the service time being cut short or the service being canceled by the provider. If the service is canceled, 100% of the service total will automatically be charged to the credit card on file.

  • What forms of payment do you accept?

    Balance accepts cash, all major credit cards, Apple Pay, Venmo. We also offer Buy Now Pay Later options at checkout.
